WL Managed servers would not start from WL console

Hi,

I have created an environment where I have to VMs in a cluster, where

VM1 hosts Admin Server, ManagedServerA1 and ManagedServerB1

and

VM2 hosts Admin Server, ManagedServerA2 and ManagedServerB2

I have to start everything from command prompt.  My managed servers will not start from the console.  I checked nodemanager.properties files, nothing unusual there.

Any idea why the managed servers would not start from the console?  Which log file would be good to attach here to help troubleshoot this problem?
