Change Bank Account Owner or have to create new account?

Is it possible to change the bank account owner or do you have to create a new account and then associate it to a different owner?

I ask because I do not appear to be able to change the legal entity (bank account owner) for a bank account to the entity I want to, but if I create a new account I can select the entity I want to.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks.
