in Value Chain Planning - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hello Team,

We are in the process of evaluating the Substitute Usage.

when we tried using the profiles

MSO: Use Up Existing Supply of Primary Components Before Substitute” as  “Yes” & MSO: Postpone Use of Alternates to Latest Possible Time set to “No” , the count of Substitute usage is around 250.

but when we tried using the Combination of MSO: Use Up Existing Supply of Primary Components Before Substitute” as  “Yes" & MSO: Postpone Use of Alternates to Latest Possible Time set to “Yes” the count of Substitute usage is around 350.

As per the Expected behavior, in the second case we should see less number substitute usage.
