solaris 10 (u11) zone impacting all system.

Hi,

I have a Sparc T5 server running zones.

System is Solaris 10 update 11.

Since a few weeks one one zone running a Oracle 11.2 Database causes from time to time the system to become unresponsive.

Only when rebooting the zone (with difficulty) does the system come back to normal.

-The load gets  relatively high (around 50).

-CPU usage is low (pgstat show about 10-20% use on all CPU components)

-Disk io is normal with service times near 0 ( zone's storage is made of a raidz of fast SSDs)

-I've dedicated CPUs the Oracledb zone can use, limited memory and swap (but kept it big enough for an oracle db).
