How to move Application Class without inadvertently deleting other Application Classes within an App

I have app package, identical in two databases:

I make a change in the highlighted App Class, and create a project with following objects:

When I move the project from source to the target database, the two App Classes that have not been touched (FNSrch and LNSrch) go blank in the target database.

Is this a bug? We are on tools 8.53.10.
