R3483 backscheduling by 'Sell by dates'

Hi Group,

Did any of you succeeded to plan by 'Sell by dates' instead of 'Expiry dates' ? My planners wants to see DRP / MRP runs to generate (work order) messages considering 'Sell by date' values , where as I know ...system considers only 'expiration date' values.

I want to know from user community , whether any of you have this kind of requirement and it's resolution.

Please share your expertise.
