EBS Upgrade deployment to PROD with minimal Downtime

Just to explain the scenario to you so as to understand
the best was to do the data clone.

PROD: Apps is 12.0.4 (10.1.2.0/10.1.3.0/Java 1.5) and DB
is 10.2.0.5.

(Source OS is AIX-5.3 -64 bit)

DEV: Cloned from PROD and Upgraded to: Apps 12.1.3
(10.1.2.3/10.1.3.5/Java 1.6) and DB to 11.2.0.4 (Target OS was AIX 6.1

-64 bit)

Now once DEV is Certified OK, I want to do a clone of DEV
onto NEW_PROD on a brand new box (AIX 6.1 - 64 bit).

In the meantime original PROD is being used and data
updated.

However at some point I will get a CODE & DATA FREEZE ON PROD

Install, Upgrade, Clone, Patch - EBS (MOSC)
