PO Copy/Paste issue

A customer uses the Copy/Paste function to enter a PO into an iStore order. The PO appears correctly, but when the order is created in Oracle OM the PO is special characters. For instance, ABC038304​98---correct PO should have been ABC03830498 and ABC038304​99---correct PO should have been ABC03830499. This is occurring for other customers as well. Has anyone seen this issue and have a resolution?
