Can we force database hints through Siebel Config - Oracle DB

Hi,

Can we implement database hints ( i.e to use specific index, use leading table etc) through Siebel Tools (i.e via config at BC level or Applet Level)?

I was told it is possible but was not able to find any documentation on it. I did find some documentation on using DB hints in EIM via IFB files.

We are on Siebel 8.2.2.4 and are using Oracle Exadataa 11G.
