Restrict inadvertent deletion of work orders

We had occasions were users deleted Work Orders and Rate Schedules inadvertantly causing lots of integrity issues. Is there anything in the system that would restrict deletion of work orders after it passed a particular status? We are not looking at E1 security solution at the moment.
