Work order completion status change

Dear all,

I had done all the relevant setup for work order completion approval, Notification is being sent and he is able to sign the document, and after that the work order status still is released. I checked the status monitor from sysadmin the process is still active but no error. Any inputs regarding this issue would be of great help
