Subledger Period Close Exception report Error

Hi,

     While running the period close in GL, the subledger period close exception report runs into error. But when I tried to open the output file, it displays some xml related error. And the log file shows some lengthy java based errors. Has anyone encountered similar error and it would be helpful if you provide me with a solution.
