Hyperion Essbase (MOSC)

Cannot install EssbaseClient (ClientInstallers-11123.zip) on Windows 8

in Hyperion Essbase (MOSC)

On Windows 8 when I unzip ClientInstallers-11123.zip and runs EssbaseClient.exe the installer starts and let me select that I want the C API but when I click on Install the installation completes with nothing being installed.

Any ideas?
