Trial Balance on Hierarchy

in General Ledger - EBS (MOSC) Question

One or two discussions on the community suggest that it is possible to run a trial balance on hierarchy/roll up group. As long as the values in the hierarchy/roll up group are children.

I have tried running GLTRBALD,GLTRBAL2, and GLTRBAL1 using a rollup group, but can only get results if I use a segment value that is a child of the parent I want a tb on.

I am using 11.5.10.2 Can anyone clarify before I trawl through the manual.
