how to check the new delivered DE2's IOM FW without connection to Controller ?

Hi, Experts.

I would like to know how to check the DE2-24C or P IOM fw revision without connection of controller.
On Customer Service manual, there is no mention about it.
On IOM of DE2, there be two maintenance ports (please refer to attached image.)
How to access it and check the IOM fw revision without controller cable attachment ?
More, what is default embedded ip-address on network port ?

Please give tip or information.
