JDE E1 9.1: Order Price changed when SO date change from Advanced Pricing
According to our branch plant constants, all order pricing should be based on the Transaction Date (TRDJ). When the order was originally created, all pricing was created correctly. We typically have a 2 week lead time to allow for production, so the promised delivery date (PDDJ) was set at the 2 week date. The customer informed us that the date was incorrect so we moved it out 2 more weeks. All standard practices, with this exception:
After the order was entered, we had a price increase. We want our customers to put in orders prior to the increase so that they can reap the benefits of savings. The original order was well within the effective dates of the old pricing. When the sales clerk changes the PROMISED DELIVERY DATE (PDDJ) for MRP, the order was automatically repriced at the new higher rate.
