R47002C will not recognize my flat file.

I've created a new version of R47002C.  The version's processing options reference JDEEMPL.  This process has been configured in P47002 as an inbound process to retrieve a text file with a root directory path.  The "Z" table to bu updated is custom (F5706Z01) which contains only 5 fields.  These 5 fields are in the same sequence as the five data points in the text file.  The R47002C will not update the "Z" file.

I've run a bebugger on the version and recorded error #0073.  Work center is returning, "Open of file unsuccessful".

Any hints regarding common development mistakes/assumptions when running R47002C?
