Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi

For the version 11i (11.5.10.2), the tax code defaulting in OM defaulting rules has an API selected

OE_Default_PVT.GET_Tax_Code

What does it do and where does it get the tax code from? I am assuming there would be precedence rules

Can please advise? or some metalink note throwing some light on it?
