Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Questions about mobile solutions in IP2014

Hi All,

I've just installed IP2014 sample database and am trying to find out about the various possibilities to use Siebel on mobile devices.

There seem to be quite a number of different possibilities and I'm not 100% sure about the differences and advantages of each.

From my understanding, those are the current possibilities:

- connecting to the normal web client using a mobile browser, supported by the new "Responsive Web Templates"

- connecting to a special "mobile enabled" object manager using a mobile browser

- connecting to a special "disconnected mobile enabled" object manager (again something else) using a mobile browser

- installing a native mobile application which connects to one of the above
