How does it work: Server Processor Compatibility Group ?

We have a cluster setup with identical servers but with different processors.

Both are xeon's of the same family, but with different Model numbers.

The first Live Migrate test failed as expected.

After adding both machines's to the same Compatibilty group. De migrate works but not Live.  The VM is shut down and after the move to the other system it is restarted.

Is there a way to make Oracle VM behave like VMWare's EVC or the XEN solution with heterogeneous groups and CPU masking ?

Since it is supported in XEN I would have expected it to work out of the box.
