Impact of a dropship PO line split on its corresponding Sales Order Line

Hi,

We have a scenario where we do Supplier Collaboration on a third party system (similar to iSupplier). The Supplier has a capability to split a PO line in that system. When that happens the split will be communicated backt o Oracle and in turn the Oracle PO line will split. My question is, how will this impact a PO created through OM (Dropship and Back to Back).

Will the new line maintain the reference of the drop ship sales order line? We are on 12.0.6
