Transportable tablespaces for E-Business Suite database migration

I have a question around use of cross platform transportable tablespaces for E-Business Suite database migration across platforms (from AIX to Linux x86_64).

The note I'm referring to is : Using Transportable Tablespaces for EBS Release 12.0 or 12.1 Using Database 11gR2 (Doc ID 1311487.1)

My question is whether the target database can be a different version than source - i.e. if the source is 11.2.0.3 and the target is 11.2.0.4, is the documented process in the above note still certified by Oracle for E-Business Suite database migration? Have raised an SR but have not yet received any constructive input on that.
