How to auto-populate the * in Grid Column(Header less detail form) named Business Unit?

Hi All,


I want to develop a custom application where I need to auto-populate the * in Grid Column(Header less detail form) named Business Unit to indicate All Branch plants.

When I try to enter grid record, the * is not getting populated in the GC. Please let me know how to achieve this.
