Is it possible to sum two attribute dimension members?

Our Essbase version is 11.1.1.3 and I am using EIS - Essbase Integration
Services for Metaoutline design.

A question has come up from a user of a cube which has an attribute
dimension with 10 members. The user would like to see a "subtotal"
member of two of the attribute members. Is this possible to place this subtotal
within the attribute dimension? Or would I have to place it somewhere else like
in the Accounts dimension and calculate with a member formula? Or is this even
possible since the attribute members do not store data?
