12.1.3 - Debrief giving error on line items

We have 2 errors that continue cause issues for our team's performing debrief.

One is Error on Line 2: An Instance could not be found for the item and location information provided.  Item Id xxxxxxx Organization ID xxxxxxxx (subinv=xxxxxx)(locator=)

The other is Error on line 2: Invalid quantity specified.  Negative quantities are not allowed for this item Please check the item definition.

In both instances there is trunk stock.  The tech is trying to debrief, using the item from the trunk stock, and it is kicking out a debrief error.  I looked up the part in one of the scenarios and their is a transaction IB error.
