Queries on servers behavior when network not available

Hi,

We have Solaris 10 standalone servers and SUN cluster in our environment. The network switches are going to perform a IOS upgrade.

- What will happen to the servers especially the SUN cluster? Will it keep failing over and fail back during the switches not available?

- Is it required to perform a reboot for stand alone servers after the IOS completed the upgrade or the not necesssary?
