Running ORAchk on HP-UX

Hi,

 

we're running a 2-Node-RAC 11.1.0.7 on HP-UX 11.31. As one can read in the MOS Doc ID 1268927.2, HP-UX is one of the supported platforms, but BASH Shell 3.2 is required to be installed.

But we're using the "normal" shell (/sbin/sh) on our HP-UX servers. After consulting our system administrators they'd prefer not to install the BASH Shell 3.2 additionally.

 

Is there perhaps an alternative to run ORAchk under the constellations I described in a few words?

 

<EDIT> I need to run ORAchk, because of a SR on MOS, and the support wants me to run it... </EDIT>
