Oracle EBS Inventory - Postprocessing field

Oracle EBS Inventory - Postprocessing field on the Item form - Lead Times Tab
We are using EBS R12.1.3. I would like to know if the 'Postprocessing' field has any benefit or use when using Min/Max to generate purchase requisitions and/or move orders?
