Reindexing of table

Hi,

We had request for re-indexing of 2 table..i ran index generation for first table and it was successful.I am asking this just for curiosity..if i generate index of same table again even though its index are generated successfully  before few mins back.Does it create any problem generating index 2 times on same table continuosly.
