Can someone help me know if there is a way to use a wildcard for Alternate Accounts in Accounting Ru

When updating Accounting Rules we would like to use the wildcard for the Alternate Account in the Accounting Rules section so that the entry drives from the incoming transaction instead of just using the default from the account.  However, when using the wildcard at save it says % is an invalid value.  Does anyone have any advice on this?
