Is there a way to enable Procurement Account Aliases (Short Codes) in the Buyer Work Center in Oracl

We know there is an enhancement request to get Procurement Account Aliases enabled in iProcurement, but is there a way to enable Procurement Account Aliases in the Buyer Work Center in R12?
