SmartView issue with Aliases(Member Description) while refreshing against HFM

Hello All,

We are using SmartView version 11.1.2.5.216 and have an EPM environment with 11.1.2.3.500 installed.

We are facing an issue currently where we are trying to refresh our already built SmartViews in Excel against HFM 123.500. The SmartViews were built in the EPM 11.1.1.3 version.

Now when we are trying to refresh the same worksheets against HFM 123.500 we cant refresh if we have Member Names with their Description in the worksheets.

We tried this with SmartView version 125.216 and version 123 as well with no success.

When we remove the aliases/description that are there with the member names we don't get any error and the worksheet refreshes successfully against HFM 123.500
