OSM 7 compatibility with windows 8.1

Hi,

We know that OSM 7 till date is certified with Windows 7. But will it work with Windows 8.1. Has anyone in community tried installing it?

Or does any one know if there is a road map to make it compatible?

This is really required now, as all the new laptops are coming with pre-installed Windows 8.
