Item costing by inter org transfer

Hello,

I want to know in discrete manufacturing organization using standard costing, is it possible to change the cost of an item in the destination org by doing an inter org transfer? Like say cost of item A in Org O1 is 10 and in Org O2 is 5. Now I do an inter org transfer for this item from Org O1 to O2. Will the cost of the item in O2 change to 10? If so can you let me know the steps to do this?
