Siebel Loyalty Points Modification

Hi All,

We have a new initiative from one of the customers, to change the existing point calculation.

Earlier we use to award 1 Loyalty point for 10 USD spent by member, but now business would like to award 1 point for 1 USD.

We can change the promotion rules to accomodate this change, but thinking about existing points.We also need to multiply existing points with 10 as ratio change.

As we have billions of transactions, we can not think of any data fix to existing accrual items. The other option is posting credit adjustment to members.

Could you please suggest any other better approach, to handle this case. I hope probably any other customer must have come across this price calculation change due to various reasons. How that is handled.
