PO Email Dispatch records

In ePro 9.0 and/or 9.1, should the PO_EMAIL_QUEUE and PO_EMAIL_Q_AET records being getting cleared out after every successful run of the Email Dispatch process?  Or will historical data always reside in one or both of those records?
