How does the Quantity amount entered in a project cost budget used for transaction funds checks in P

in Projects - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hi,

Would like to know the actual functionality behind the Quantity column in the Budget Lines entry screen (PAXBUEBU) and how does it affect thetransaction funds-check processes?
