Does JDE MRP generates expedite message on past due orders?

Have you ever come across business asking for expedite message for past due orders ('T')? Oracle has released a patch in the past that handles Cancel messages if the demand is no longer exists or decrease message if demand decreases or defer message if demand is in distant futire. But that patch did not consider to generate expedite messages on past due orders. Have you ever come across this scenario and what is the work around to handle this? I have checked with Oracle and they suggest to make custom changes. Before we take any further steps i wanted to
