MSVCR71.DLL file not found after installing MFP

Hi,

We are running MFP on 13.4.2.2 and after installing on some newly imaged machines users are receiving the error message below after attempting to log in:

The program can’t start because MSVCR71.dll is missing from your Computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.


I have confirmed that dll is not present at the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 path on the new machines. 

My questions are:

  1. Why is that dll needed to run RPAS?
  2. Why does it not get loaded as part of the install?
  3. What are the recommended steps to resolve this issue
