Required API which can used to hold on repair order based on conditions

We had busines requirement, that if In warrenty replacement is more than one , then after generating repair order system should put automatic hold on respective repair order.

We know we need to customize this.

We like to know that oracle API, we can use to put hold on respective repair order.

Please guide.
