Question regarding Price Tolerances

What is the difference between having a Unit Price Tolerance of 99999999.99999 vs 99999999.00000?  We've come across issues where if an item's tolerance is 99999999.0000 it will cause PO Auto Source (PO Calc) to go to No Success, but when updated to 99999999.99999 it runs successfully.  Would like to know what the difference is.  Thanks for any information!
