How to deduplicate the data that is written before deduplication enabled?

We have CIFS and NFS shares on ZFS 7420 and 7410 storage. And they are heavily utilized from the capacity perspective. We wanted to enable data deduplication and enabled it 2 weeks ago. After that time we writed neatly 1.8TBs of data (mostly backup data of VMs. But Deduplication ratio still seems 1x. Additionally I have 11.8 TB of data on that shares. If the unit thinks none of these data is deduplicated that means there is something wrong with that deduplication algorithm. But if I have to do something more to manually deduplicate that data (start a job or something)

Howdy, Stranger!
