Maximum Security Groups in version 11.1.1.8

Up till version 11.1.1.6 Oracle advised to limit the number of security groups to 50, due to search performance in combination with the use of accounts. An exception seems to be made when most of the user are member of all the de SG's or in just very few. (See Doc ID449759.1)

However, in the latest documentation (that applies to version 11.1.1.8) there seems to be a significant difference. The advised maximum of Security Groups is still 50, but only if used in combination with accounts!

Does this explicit condition indeed apply to version 11.1.1.8. or is this a slip of the pen?
