Single Putaway Function for different types of tasks

We have a new process where we will begin using Replenishment tasks in WMS. We currently only use Putaway for receipts against POs. The same users will be alternating between both types of transactions all day. I have tried using either one of these to perform the other type of putaway but it will not find the other type of LPN.

Question: Can we use the same function for both types of Putaway?

We currently do Putaway for receipts against POs and we use this function:
