Hi, I'm running oracle vm virtual box 4.3.10 and downloaded the oel linux 64bit and have installed it in the vm.

All is working well.

However now I want to install virtualboxguestadditions to use shared folders.

I'm have a very difficult time doing so.

I've run yum update to get the os all updated.

I'm supposed to execute mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom

i get error

mount point /mnt/cdrom does not exist.

Now this is all virtual so there is no real cdrom.

Are there any suggestions or clearer notes on how to get this done?    Please help.

thanks

Ed
