Unable to update column INTERFACE_LINE_ATTRIBUTE15 of RA_INTERFACE_LINES_ALL

Dear All

I want to update column INTERFACE_LINE_ATTRIBUTE15 of RA_INTERFACE_LINES_ALL. Initially it has no value. But it is not being populated by script. I have written a custom trigger for each row on RA_INTERFACE_LINES_ALL but it is not updating column value. What is the reason for this?? EBS version is 12.1.3 and database version is 11.1.0.7.0
