Intermittent issue with Oracle Bursting Program

We are using the bursting logic to email the invoices to customer.  Now a days we are facing intermittent issue during bursting.

When we are submitting the invoice print program in batches, say its launch 10 bursting program to run parallel at a time. What is happening is some of the bursting program completing normal and some of them (out of 10 say 2) hang. It means in application status show as running and in Backend at OS level bursting request not showing any status. Even after waiting for long still status show as ‘Active’ .

What we observed, when we are using delivery method as PRINT, it generating the PDF and all the bursting programs completing normal. When we are using delivery method as “Email” some of the bursting program  hang forever and show as running status.
