Anniversary Accrual Code

One of our companies would like a vacation accrual setup where during the first 6 months of employment, employees accrue vacation but it is not immediately available.  For employees beyond the 6 months of employment, their accrual is available immediately.  I was hoping to use the Fiscal/Anniversary Rollover to rollover the hours accrued during the 6 months into the accrual DBA code where the accrual will continue to calculate based off Date Started, and is available immediately.  E1 documents say if using a two DBA accrual/available setup, the available vacation accrual should be set to not calculate.  Has anyone used
