Updating Interim Checks

When I try to update an interim check for some employees the records aren't there to update.  I have tried the same pay calculation for several employees, some I can update and some do not show up in the Interim Processing Selections.  This is for US payroll only and I have tested both hourly and salaried employees.  When entering the interim check (P060531), if I chose M (manual checks), then they will show up, but if I chose C (computer)  they're missing.
