PDB/multitenant or regular 12c database in Production?

Hi,

I have multitenant feature enabled and using PDB's in development environment. We are planning to implement the acceptance and production environments.

The question is did anyone implement multitenant option in production environments, if yes is that path a viable option if we implement dataguard or should i consider the a non CDB 12c database as my option.

What are the limitations of multitenant architecture?
